The success of any Open Learning Centre like NIOSe Group of Education, India lies in its responsiveness to the changing needs and aspirations of its clientele group. The technological advances have increased the aspirations of the learners from the institutions and the institutions, today, depend heavily on technology of various types to deal with its learners. In order to facilitate its learners/client group for their transactions/ interactions with NIOSe, a Learner Support Centre (LSC) has been set up at NIOSe COE at Kolkata and has started functioning from 2nd May of 2006. The Learner Support Centre functions as a Multi-mode Response Centre.
