NIOSe is National Institute of Online Study for Education to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners for their higher education. The Education Policy on strengthening of NIOSe Open & Corresponding System for extending open learning facilities in a phased manner from Secondary level to Post Graduate for all over the country as an independent system with its own curriculum and examination leading to certification. Consequently, Syllabus has been designed under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in order to set up the Distance & Corresponding Open Learning Education Programmes.
